Seriously- TGIF!!
Last weekend was so hectic and crazy with me making the final move into Steve's house and hosting Easter dinner for his family that I had NO time to relax at all. I am so excited to have a weekend to watch movies, get my craft on and spend some quality time with Stephen. Tonight I am making sure the house is clean, so tomorrow when I wake up -after sleeping in- I can layout all my craft stuff in the living room and get my craft on all day while watching movies. Bliss. :)
I also need to plan my brunch for next weekend as we are hosting a Mother's Day brunch S's bestfriend. I am pretty excited about meeting Thomas' family because he hang's out at are house all the time but we have never met his family. I am thinking about making some kind of breakfast casserole but if its nice, maybe we should BBQ instead? I think if we BBQ it will be a little more laid back and casual. We can turn on the Kinect for the kids and sip on some drinks. Maybe some kabobs? Hum.. that sounds good. Any ideas or recipe's to share?

Strawberry Cool Whip Pie
Today I’m going to share with you one of our favorite spring/summer desserts! It’s probably the easiest dessert… and I promise ANYONE can make it.
Ingredients:
Keebler Pie Crust
Lite Cool Whip
2-3 Yogurt (strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, key lime….)
Directions:
Thaw cool whip in microwave for about 30 seconds. Next you will combine the the cool whip and yogurt in a medium bowl. Then place the mixture into the pie crust and spread out evenly. After this you will place in the freezer for about 4-6 hours before serving. You can leave it in overnight, just make sure to leave it out about an hour before serving to let it soften up a bit. That’s it! Easy peasy!

My attmept at art...
So, I had this picture that did not match with anything in my house. It's not that I didnt like it, It just didnt match anything! So... I came up with an idea...
I cut the fabric in strips and then I layed it out in a pattern that I liked...I stapled the fabric to the back of the pitcure along the frame. I was originally going to do something different but liked laying the fabric out kind of crooked. It helped hide the mistakes and I just folded the jagged edges from cutting the strips under the other peice I layed on top or simply folded it over.
I came up with this... It is now hung horizontilly in my upstairs hall.. (this picture was not taken at my house so the background colors are all wrong..) It looks really nice in my (DARK) hallway. :)
Simple and better then before.

My grumpy pants...
Today just started out bad. The BF is ignoring me and I really don't even know why but you know what?!... I am tired of being the peace maker and the edge of reason so I am letting him have his moment and when he is ready to talk then he can come to me. I am overwhelmingly tired and my back hurts. I started working out at the YMCA again and last night's step class kicked my butt. I hope I can get my body stretched out and more flexible soon because I have to stick with this. My weight is up on the scale, I don't feel good about myself (it doesn't help having a hair cut my bf doesn't like and having braces on) I feel like I am in my awkward pre teen years once again! Shame both of my parents for not being responsible enough to put braces on me sooner! SHAME SHAME! Now, I am dealing with them and paying for them on my own. Not so awesome.
Isn't my ranting lovely?!
My heart hurts. I am annoyed and grumpy.
Blah!

This boring blog...
Welcome to my boring blog!
I can't blog to vent as much as I would like to... because my boss and boyfriend read this, well, I think they do, but I'm not stupid!!
I blog most of the time because I am bored and I like to share my boring, normal kinda witty life with you. Ah, hell... I'm not witty. If I was that would make this blog interesting and we all know it is far from that.
So here it is:
Hi my name is Tiffany!
I try to be the girl who looks at things as half full, I try to be funny but most of the time I become the butt of the joke, I care about this earth, I want to marry my boyfriend someday, have children and be a stay at home mom- or as you snazzy peep's like to call it "SAHM". I went to school for early childhood education and know alot about babies and children. I often get asked by friends with children for advice and that makes me feel pretty special. I like scrap booking, movies and dining out. I have two cat's or as my boyfriend likes to call them "my furry children". I love them to pieces, treat them like they are human and often talk to them and ask them question's as if one day they will get tired of the whole pretending not to talk or understand me thing and will answer me. My boyfriend Steve and I live together near Seattle, WA. We love bike riding and "nerding out". I love him more then anything and would do anything for him. I pray that he is the one for me and that we will grow old together. So, that's it. Pretty boring, nothing too unique or special. Just an average girl making it in this crazy life.
Oh, ps. I hate it when people do things in sync on purpose! It drives me batty! For example, when everyone sings "Happy Birthday". Baaaa!!! I get so embarrassed singing. It's like really?! This is lame.
Oh, and I love red velvet. Yum! Oh, and Subway! Double YUM!

It's all about me.
Me time:
I really need to do more of this. Whether it is really taking the time to do something that I like to do or working out and not feeling guilty about taking the time to do so. I need to do it for me. Tonight I went to the YMCA and did a class. I really realized how out of shape I am but it felt soooo good to be there. I need to remember this feeling and go more often. :) I will keep this on mind in the future as motivation to be a more powerful me. :)

Date night.
Wonderful weekend!!!
So, Steve surprised me this weekend with a night away at a hotel and a nice dinner out at Black Angus. He had made reservations at a nice hotel in Marysville and the super bonus was that it had a jacuzzi tub right in the center!! It was so nice!! On Saturday night we both got dressed up and went to dinner. He had prime rib and a king lobster tail and I had salmon and a baked potato. I tried a few bites of his lobster for the first time and fell in L-O-V-E!! Yum!! Best thing ever! After dinner we went the casino that happened to be right across the street and won 10 buckaroos. It was really nice to get away for a romantic night. The next morning Steve woke up and went and got us McDonald's breakfast. Yum. Again. It was daylight savings so we got jipped out of an hour of hotel time but that's ok, we left and went grocery shopping at Costco and Winco then headed home and relaxed. It was a great weekend and I am very happy we were able to get away for a day.
I love him.

The kid leash!
I will never ever make fun of the kid leash again!! Yesterday, we went to the pacific science center and it was amazing and handy!! It had a top benefit of not making Finley sit in the stroller for most of the time so she was able to get all good and worn out!
Love it and recommend it to any caregiver!! I will never make fun of the kid leash again!
PS. Have you seen this fabulous blog?? Check her out! She has a rockin' style and is amazingly beautiful!

Suck it, Cold Weather!
This winter seems to be exceptionally long and drawn out..
I am a cold weather person but I turned the corner last week from "Ok, I can handle this rain, snow, hail mix" to "Ok, I think I am going to punch myself in the face if I step in one more puddle and get the back of my jeans soggy half way up to my calf one more time." I get home kick off my shoes for some nice relaxing time and have to kick my pants off at the door as well. So over it!!
On another note:
Braces are feeling much better. Still sore however, it feels like someone has kicked me in the teeth but looking back on last week this is a big improvement. One week down... about 400 left...
So I am trying to break into this whole world of blogging, I am not quite sure on how to go about it. Everything seems so complicated. However, I decided last week, that I would participate in those linky party's to get out there, well, I remembered today that that was my goal... hum.... Where has the time gone!? Ok, so I always seem to miss the deadlines for these things.. but we will see how it goes..
1st up:
The Vlog Rave that is going on right now..
Wait for it... wait for it..
to be continued..

Friday's confessional

Ya, someone pee'd in my cheerio's...or blended cheerio's in my case.
My mouth is killing me!!!
It's been two days since I got my braces on and the pain reliever is not helping! I can not chew anything because I have two little blue studs on the top of my back teeth so I can't close my mouth fully. So that means = NO SOLIDS FOR ME FOR SIX WEEKS! Ya, you read that right... none, sip, nada...
Just shoot me and put me out of my miserey..
At least it may be a good weight loss plan?
Pudding, applesauce and yogurt are my new BFF's for sure!
